Kavya Rajesh couldn't help but rave about the mozzarella and pasta, praising the 36-month aged Parmesan for its exquisite depth of flavor. Dishes like the enchanting bomboloni are not to be missed, making every bite a revelation.
One of the restaurant's shining stars is its pasta selection, creatively showcased in the Amaro Pasta Bar tasting menu. As Bensen Thai detailed, the five-course offering is an exquisite journey through classic recipes that respect tradition while enhancing flavors through expert preparation. Each course is thoughtfully paired with artisanal cocktails, ensuring a harmonious dining experience.
What truly sets Osteria Mozza apart is the dedication to keeping things authentically Italian, as pointed out by Rachel Newbury. Each dish speaks to a steadfast commitment to quality without unnecessary embellishments. This clear focus allows the natural brilliance of the ingredients to shine through, making it a haven for those who appreciate culinary integrity.

Hits high notes in every way! We dined there twice and enjoyed the best pasta on either side of the Atlantic and the best tiramisu! Great personable service and flawless kitchen at very reasonable prices for a Michelin starred restaurant. Highly recommended!
We arrived earlier than our reservation and were offered an immediate seat at the mozzarella bar as an option. So accommodating! The food was out of this world. Server was efficient and helpful at choosing menu items. A true LA, high end restaurant experience! Staff moving efficiently through dining area providing great service.
Took one bite of the mozzarella and I understood why Nancy Silverton has a Michelin star. I didn’t think cheese like this existed outside Italy. The pasta with 36 month aged Parmesan was exceptional as was the bomboloni. Every dish was perfect, my only note was the shaved Brussels sprouts are on the salty side but the roasted almonds were excellent.
Absolutely lovely! Enjoyed sitting at the mozzarella bar to watch them crank out apps and salads. Every single thing we ordered was perfection and we finished every bite. I appreciate that this Italian restaurant doesn’t try to get too cutesy...they stick to what they know well and add their own little flare without losing the essence of the dish’s intent. If I am ever in the area again I will absolutely return.
Visited Osteria Mozza in late April 2025 and tried the Amaro Pasta Bar tasting menu, priced at 75 per person before tax. The five-course selection featured a variety of classic pasta dishes, each showcasing the restaurant's commitment to traditional Italian flavors. it is a known Michelin-starred establishment. The ambiance at the Amaro Bar was inviting, and the service was attentive throughout the evening. Complementing our meal, the spritz cocktail provided a refreshing and well-balanced accompaniment.
We absolutely loved this place!, We sat at the bar for the pasta tasting and Danny waited on us who was the bartender but he was just great explaining every pairing and dish that was presented to us! We highly recommend it so much fun!
Spectacular service. Loved everyone there. They even took out a Polaroid and snapped a pic for us to take as a keepsake. Every staff member went above and beyond. Immediately a favorite.
Celebrating my birthday in one day is not enough. Had to come eat here with my hubby. After reading about the place and restaurant needed to try. We had someone come and help us with wine selection since they have an extended selection. We loved our chianti bottle we chose. The menu was incredible it was hard to make a selection on what to try. We tried 2 items of each side of the menu. At moments like this, I wish I had extra stomach to try more. Every plate was presented well, and each bite that i took of the food made me wiggle in my seat of joy. Each bite of the food was exceptional. Dessert didn't let me down either. I can't wait till I come back and try more of the delicious menu. Thank you to the chef and her crew, Nancy. You are impressive. Also, thank you for the singed menu.
